This year we did an awesome thing with our Christmas presents for the kids which was a huge hit and will be a new tradition for us. We got the idea from here..
Basically we buy presents for each child according to this old Victoria poem
Something to eat
Something to read
Something to play with
and Something they need
And then they also get three gifts based on gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
Gold is something valuable or something that they really want.
Frankincense is something that can be done with or for the family. (Ex. sewing lessons with Mom, a DVD to watch together, or a board game)
Myrrh is something that they need. (Usually of higher value than the other gift.)

Each gift was labeled in that way and the boys loved it!
The big hit was their Gold present which Neena & Boppa provided this year....
