What we've been up to...
After EM was born we had to stay longer in the hospital than I have ever with any of my children, due to the c-section. We finally left the hospital on Tuesday. We went back to my parents house, since I was going to need extra help and was not really in the best of shape to just take off to New Hampshire. So we stayed at my parents house till Friday. What a blessing it was to us all that my parents opened their house and let us practically take over half of the house for a month! Thank you Neena and Boppa! Here are some photos of her coming home and meeting a few more friends and family.
Jen & Faith came to visit before church
My Nanny...
Uncle Scotty..
Cousin Josie from VT
Auntie Rae (DH's aunt) from VT
There were many others that day but I forgot to take pictures..
Here we are all ready to go home... patiently waiting for the Dr to come discharge us!
Isn't she adorable!
My sister was out of town when EM was born so when we got home she and her fiance came over to meet EM.
Em was crying when I handed her to him but she settled right down.. I know call him the baby whisperer!
If any of you remember from this post A didn't want a sister. He was mad that the baby was going to be a girl. I knew that it would all change when she came and that he would be an awesome big brother. Well he is a baby hog! He wants to hold her all the time!
Thursday we headed back to the Dr's to check her weight and she was back up to 7lbs 13ounces
I was trying to get some photos of her while she was awake.. I got a couple but then more people came to visit.
This is the best one I got. I plan on working on doing a photo shoot with her this week.
When we got back to NH our friends there had a end of summer BBQ since all of their kids were starting school on Monday. So EM got all dressed up to meet all of her new friends... she didn't tolerate the hat very long!
Sunday we finally all got to go to church together as a family for the first time! I hadn't been to our new church for over a month due to not being able to travel! What a blessing it was to be back with our new church family! They are wonderful people and I had missed being with them! DH's grandmother and cousin even came over to worship with us! It was also Dh and I's 12th anniversary! We will have to celebrate at a later date!
Walking to Church (it was taken with my phone so no zoom..)
This was the best picture I could get of all of them on Sunday.
So this brings you up to two weeks ago...
