The Verdict is in....

Yesterday was not only the first day of spring (it was 77 degrees!) but it was boy or girl day. S had been telling us forever that he was having a baby sister (this started before I ever got pregnant) he reassured us that God had told him that he was going to have a baby sister. So I have been talking with him a lot about it might be a boy and that we will love this baby no matter if it's a boy or girl and he reassured me that he would! (love that kid!) A wanted another boy and D also wanted a sister. I had also prepared DH that this baby wasn't going to co-operate because I just had a feeling, due to the fact that he/she has not co-operated with any other tests so far! DH told me that we would stay there until we knew (he even talked to the tech before I got in there and she told him that they had lunch after so she could stay till 1:00 if it took that long LOL!) Well my appointment was at 11:00 and it wasn't until 12:45 that this baby finally co-operated (she also needed certain views of the heart). The baby was breach and spine out which makes it VERY hard to do measurements, I was laying on belly, my side, practically on my head trying to get this baby to turn around (he/she never did:)). The umbilical cord was right between their legs and the legs were crossed, I said to the tech "That means it's a girl. She's just being a lady! All my boys were showing off for the whole world to know!" Well finally we got the cord to move enough to tell that we are having.....

Yup a baby girl! Even though I kinda thought that it might be a girl, this pregnancy has been very different, although I tried to always tell people "it could be my age, it's been a while since I was pregnant". We didn't have another child to try and have a girl, we are having another baby because we wanted another child. We would love this child no matter if it was a boy or girl or if it had special needs (everything looks fine so far!). The Lord has truly blessed us with the ability to be parents and I don't want to ever take that for granted! Each one of our children are a blessing from God. Thank you God for entrusting us with these precious ones! Here is a little video of how we told D & A (S got to go with us):

HOORAY!!!!!!!!! Congratulations. Girls are so much fun, but SO very different from the boys (in our experience!) There is no doubt that she will be loved so very much!
