Look who's 1!!!

We were able to have EM's first birthday party on her actual birthday! Poor girl was sick all night the night before and still not feeling that well during her party but she was a trooper! 

DH made her cake. I think it came out perfect!

She enjoyed opening her presents! And loved them all! They were perfect.

DH made her a little cake that she could have all to herself. I think if she hadn't been sick this would have been a whole lot messier!

I can't believe it has been a year. It flew by! There is one piece of advice my Mimi gave me as a child that I always took to heart, "Don't wish your life, away, live everyday for itself"  I have always tried to do that and I can't believe how old my children are getting!
