My Weekly post (since I threw down the challenge I better keep up with it!!)

S is so excited! He has started to learn to read and red his first book to DH and I the other night! It was awesome! I even had tears in my eyes! It never gets old to me when your kids first learn to read! Especially for S because his brothers are so close in age and he being the youngest for so long he was always sad that he couldn't read by himself!

Because S only goes to Kindergarten only in the afternoon, lots of times we go do our shopping right after the big boys leave for school. Well the other day when we were leaving Walmart S noticed this dinosaur and wanted to put some change in it.. as I am digging for change I realize where this money is going.. the sign says "All Proceeds go to the Children's Hospital at Darmouth" I actually got a little vaclempt. This is the hospital that helped save S's life almost 6 years ago! What a blessing it was to be able to give back to them! I dug out all my change and in it went! (sorry the picture is blurry I didn't realize it was until after I got home)
S playing while he waits to go to school.. this is hard he asks every hour if its time to go! He loves school and I hope that never changes!

This week we started One Voice, a local group of churches that put on a Christmas show every year. We used to be involved in this group when we lived in NH before. The boys are excited. A is part of a special dance group (along with Dh which will be fun!) and D has a special speaking part. S and I are also in it but not taking a center stage part this time. I am doing the choreography for a couple of the children's songs.
A is having some troubles in reading. We met with his teacher this last week (who is a UCONN Alumni! and an amazing teacher!) and he let us know that A is almost a whole grade behind in reading. I am not really sure how this happened but the school is great and has him set up with a reading specialist. I looked at his report card for the end of the year last year and he had met grade level... so who knows! Anyways we are looking for ways to encourage him to work hard on his reading, it is something he doesn't like. This is the complete opposite of D who gets in trouble cause he's reading when he should be doing his other subjects!
EM is growing fast! I can't believe she is 7 weeks on Saturday! Crazy how time flies by. I will try to start taking more pictures this week. EM doesn't like to be far from me! So I am trying to get into a routine with her!

So stay tuned, cause it's my favorite time of the year to take photos! FALL!!!!!
