Last week of summer....(warning this is a long post!)

For our last week of summer vacation we were blessed to be able to stay at our Camp at McFalls again (we have only stayed at home one week this whole summer!) with some friends. We did something fun everyday. Monday we used this awesome home made slip-in-slide. The Thorpes made it!

Tuesday we went down the Little Androscoggin but I didn't take my camera (yes I was a little nervous that it might go in the water!)... Wednesday we built a rocket launcher.. plans are on this site I highly recommend doing it! It is unbelievable!

Thursday Lynn and I had to cook for Kiwanis so the guys too k the kids to Bethel to the covered bridge and the falls etc.. they didn't bring a camera!
Then Friday we packed up and headed to the Kangamangas Highway! All the time we lived in NH we always wanted to do it but never did... so off we went! It was a beautiful day and a lot of fun! The river is gorgeous! I highly recommend this especially if you have older kids! I took a bazillion more photos but didn't want to put them all on here.. I will post them on facebook.

From there the Thorpes headed back home (oh I am sure they went to N. Conway!) and we headed on the Meredith, NH to visit with some other friends. One Voice, a group we used to perform with when we lived there, was having a weekend of performances so we headed to their first stop Friday night Alton Bay Campground...
This was the boys hanging out with their buddies...

The boys haven't gotten to be together much this summer because the Brown's have a new baby. These boys really love each other... they were so excited to finally get to spend the weekend together..(there were many tears shed when we headed home!)
On Saturday we headed to Littleton, NH for the day, One Voice was going to be performing there that night so we tagged along again! So we were brave and took all7 (8 is you include the 4 week old!) to Chutters the world's longest Candy Counter 112 feet of gleaming glass jars filled with brightly colored candy! They were awesome! i was actually shocked at how well we all did!

After we took them to the local park to run off the sugar before the show.. you can see those pictures here... Here are some shots of the show!
