D turns 9!

It's hard for me to believe that 9 years ago I gave birth to my 10 lbs little red head after 40 hours of labor. Words can't express how I felt the day I became a mother. As a little girl I always dreamed of being a mother.. and that day had come! Now 9 years later I am getting ready to be a mother to 4 children that the Lord has blessed us with!

Due to our crazy hectic schedule right now the only day we could have his birthday party was on his actual birthday in the evening. We still had a house full! D was sooo happy! There is nothing he likes more than a party! 

DH made this awesome cake...

Thank you to everyone who came... D got lots of new books (he has almost read all of them already) and he got some gift certificates to his favorite book store! He was so excited! This boy can't read enough! He is growing up so fast!
