Steps I took for my cooking day..

So a few of my blog readers (thank you girls:) ) asked me if I would post the steps I took to create my Cooking with Karole-Ann class so here I go...

Step 1:
I started by using the world-wide-web to do as much research as I could it is amazing what you can find when you type in once-a-month cooking, freezers meals, and bulk cooking... I had only cooked meals for my family and I had one book and that was it.
Here are a few of the websites I frequently use:
Frugal Mom; Life as a Mom; Money Saving Mom; My Kitchen Addiction; The Newlywed Blog;
Kids meal ideas; 30 meals in one day; Once a month Mom; The Pioneer Woman; Taste of Home

Some books I recommend: (*the ones I own)
* Once-A-Month cooking by: Mimi Wilson & Mary Beth Lagerborg
Don't Panic- Dinner's in the Freezer By: Susie Martinez, Bonnie Garcia
Fix, Freeze, Feast: The Delicious, Money-saving way to feed your family By: Katie Neville
*Taste of Home: Freezer Pleaser
*The Occasional Cook: Culinary Strategies for Over-Committed Families By: Cindy Salzmann

Step 2:
Picking the Recipes you want to do in your class... I chose 5 (that gives you 10 meals) and I retyped then and made then fancy, just cause that's how I am :)
This one is a Crockpot Recipe but you get the idea....
I also gave them 5 Crockpot Recipes to supplement so that would be 15 meals!

Step 3:
I created a Grocery Shopping/Supplies list for every one.

Ok I think that is enough for one post....
