Sesame Street- Part 2

When we finally got there we were the second ones in line! So when we entered the park it was empty!
Waiting for the gates to open.
After we got inside, the first thing we saw was Oscar the Grouch and Super Grover doing the local morning news. It was great! The boys were screaming!
Right behind them was Cookie Monster waiting to go on the air next..

Now my boys LOVE Cookie. He was the only one they talked about seeing! Well Cookie Monster is at least 6'6" so the boys were a little timid at first.

After that you walk right down "Sesame Street."

The famous steps!
Neena and Boppa with the boys!
S's first impression of Sesame.... by the way he was the best baby ever. He rode around in the stroller for two days loving just being outside!

The park is 75% water park...The weather was 92-95 the whole time we were there so we spent lots of time in the water!

They had little water slides that kids could go down themselves. I didn't think our boys would do it but they loved it! They did it several times!

No ride was too fast or too high for D. A on the other hand.. well he loved this one but didn't like a lot of the tube rides.(I didn't want to do this one so Boppa stood in for me! I think he was more scared then either of the boys!)Then we met Big Bird! He is REALLY big! He was sitting on a stool and he still towered over DH!

DH refused to have his picture taken with Elmo so Neena and Boppa gladly stepped in!

We did a few other rides (I wont bore you!) and then had lunch. When we came out from lunch Cookie Monster was coming out to see everyone! This time the boys ran over to him and gave him big hugs!

Count (he was quite the dancer) and family
Telly...

In the afternoon we watched the big parade. We had front row seats thanks to my friend Stacy who had all the inside scoops! While we were waiting for the parade the family next to us lost their 1 1/2 year old! It was kinda hectic we prayed for them, looked around for the little girl. The park has an awesome system that if anyone finds a lost child they bring them to the Lost Parent building and that's where she was. Here are some shots of the parade.

The boys were upset because this was the only Snuffy they had!

We went to see a show and S loved it! You can't really tell but he jumped and "sang" through the whole thing!

By the end of day 1 the only Characters we hadn't had our pictures taken with were Bert and Ernie! That night we went out to dinner and off to bed to get ready for day 2!
